(also known as Boxes, Squares, Paddocks, Square-it, Dots and Dashes, Dots, Smart Dots, Dot Boxing, or, simply, the Dot Game) Even though TRAPPEX is quick and easy to learn, there is a depth of strategy that will keep students alert from the first move until the last. When played by experts, Trappex becomes a battle of mathematical strategy and statistical sacrifice. To play, players take turns placing their wooden "wall" pieces on the board, attempting to complete squares while tactically preventing their opponent from doing the same. The player with the most completed squares at the end of the game wins. TRAPPEX is simple enough to be played by 4 year olds and still strategic enough to engage the true gamer.
